# Paper Snapshot quick start guide

Paper Snapshot is an extension that allows you to capture any element on a page and paste it into a Paper file.

## pin the extension

1. open Extensions  
2. find **Paper Snapshot**  
3. pin it to the toolbar

## how to use

1. turn on the extension by clicking the icon or pressing `Shift` \+ `⌘` \+ `P`  
2. find a target element  
3. `↑`  `↓` to fine-tune your target  
4. `↵` or click to snapshot  
5. `⌘` \+ `V` to paste it into a [Paper file](https://app.paper.design/)
